We have special programs for children on Sunday morning during the worship service for children from newborns to fifth grade. Nursery care is available during the entire worship service for babies and toddlers. Our older children enjoy worship with their parents in our "gymnasium sanctuary" at the beginning and ending of our service, they stay with us for two songs and a Children's Homily / Blessing, leave for Sunday School, and return for Holy Communion.
Preschool through 5th graders have their own age-appropriate classes during the adults' teaching and prayer portion of the service. One of our core values at Church of the Holy Spirit is to support our children and their parents' efforts to raise them. We offer a safe, fun environment where children can "know and grow" in Jesus Christ. Apart from our Nursery, our Children's Ministry is currently divided into three classes:

Pre-K and Kindergarten - This class includes 4 to 6 year olds or through kindergarten

Lower Elementary - 1st and 2nd grades

Upper Elementary - 3rd through 5th grades
Each classroom has a Leader and one Assistant. A lesson is provided for all ages above nursery. Leaders are provided with curriculum that allow for lessons to be adapted to the leaders' strengths and the children's needs. Leaders and Assistants may serve for one month or more.
